To get the best performance out of them, you need a <strong>good break-in<\/strong>, a process that improves grip and prevents premature wear. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is filming important?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New pads have a surface layer that must be gradually worn away to adapt to the disc and brake efficiently.  <strong>If you don&#8217;t do it right, you can reduce its effectiveness and shorten its service life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps for a perfect shooting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Avoid hard braking<\/strong> for the first <strong>50 km<\/strong>, make<strong> smooth and progressive braking<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Avoid overheating them<\/strong>. Use the brakes sparingly and give the pads time to settle and cool down when needed. <\/li>\n<li><strong>After about 50 km<\/strong>, you can start braking normally and get the maximum performance from your new pads.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Proper break-in <strong>improves safety and prolongs the life of your braking system<\/strong>.
